From her great-aunt Ortensia, from Trieste, owner of an atelier at the beginning of the twentieth century, to the determination of Gigliola who arrived in the Lombardy capital during the years of the economic boom and designed the perfect clothes to go to the premiere of La Scala, becoming a certainty for the chicest Milanese, up to reach Harrods in London and Bergdorf Goodman in America. His creation, the Curiellino, is recognizable elegance that evolved with his daughter Raffaella in the years in which ready-to-wear made space in what would become the city of Italian fashion. Nicknamed as the intellectual of fashion, one of the cornerstones of haute couture which combines expertise with a passion for art, she passes down this legacy to her daughter Gigliola, who today designs the latest collections.
