Herno is an Italian brand founded in 1948 by Giuseppe Marenzi and his wife Alessandra in Lesa, on Lake Maggiore. Initially specialized in raincoats, Herno was born from the need to create functional garments for the humid climate of the area. Everything, in the beginning, revolves around water, and ultimately in flumine est vita. Herno, in fact, is the name of the stream that laps the factory. Thanks to quality craftsmanship and the use of innovative materials, the brand then expanded into the production of luxury coats and down jackets. Today, Herno is synonymous with elegance, technology and sustainability, combining Italian sartorial tradition with cutting-edge research.
