APRITIMODA IS BACK
It was the spring of ten years ago... it seems like the beginning of a fairytale, and maybe it is a little. Because the idea we had in mind, that of throwing open the doors of fashion, seemed like a wonderful idea to everyone. But like the song: beautiful and impossible. But we were stubborn.
That spring, we started with 14 addresses, all in Milan: those of the top-tier fashion houses. I could recite them by heart, like the Inter Milan lineup of Sarti, Burgnich, and Facchetti: Armani, Prada, Versace, all fourteen of them.
We handed out elegant cards with a map of the city and kept our fingers crossed that no one might show up.
Instead, it was love at first sight!
A love that has since expanded and grown, and which this year leads us to celebrate the tenth edition of ApritiModa.
No longer just the famous brands, but the entire system. Like a game of Chinese boxes, on Saturday, October 24th and Sunday, October 25th, one hundred doors of companies large and famous, but also small, indispensable, and valuable, spread across every region of Italy, will open for you. To give you a close-up look at what can always only be seen from afar: the places where intelligent hands, wielding beauty and skill, give birth to Made in Italy. ApritiModa continues to be the only opportunity to enter places where doors are closed. To experience firsthand where, how, and thanks to whom, a fabric, a dress, a hat, an umbrella, a pair of glasses, a pair of shoes... are born.
In an increasingly virtual world, we continue to want people to meet, discover stories, be amazed, be moved, and fall in love. I told you, we're truly stubborn!
