Cilento 1780
Via Fiori Oscuri, 13, Milano (Milano)
Once you cross the doorstep of the Cilento 1780 atelier, on the Chiaia Riviera in Naples, time stops. The same will happen in via dei Fiori Oscuri in the center of Brera in Milan, inside the Antica Farmacia. This is because the signature of the Cilento family, dedicated to male tailoring and excellent tailor made for eight generations, creates a unique atmosphere. An entrepreneurial story that combines Made in Italy and vision: it was 1831 when the Cilento brothers built two spinning mills in Salerno with Swiss textile industrialists. This is the starting point for the creations of the Neapolitan maison which from a tailor's shop becomes a point of reference throughout the world. Over the years the family has kept its promise by becoming increasingly recognizable and cultivating the family collection with research and passion, in parallel with the thriving business. A knowledge that combines samples of ancient fabrics, accessories, cuffs from the Victorian age, formal dresses from the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. A value also exhibited at the National Archaeological Museum of Naples. Beyond prestige, the welcome in the Cilento 1780 ateliers will always be that of home.
