Museo
Over 2,000 square meters of space divided into 20 themed rooms: at Via Tortona 27, inside Superstudio Più, is the FLA FlavioLucchiniArt Museum—thirty years of work by Flavio Lucchini, artist and sculptor, who after a prestigious editorial career that began in the 1960s with Amica and Vogue Italia, chose to explore fashion from another angle, as a metaphor for an ever-evolving society.
On the occasion of ApritiModa, the FLA Museum invites visitors to discover, in the Atelier space, the exhibition Grazie Giorgio – The Influence of Giorgio Armani’s Fashion in the Works of Flavio Lucchini. The show, through sculptures, paintings, and digital artworks, tells the story of the professional and personal bond between the artist and the designer, starting in 1975 when Armani founded his own label with the support of Lucchini, then art director and editor of L’Uomo Vogue, and the first to recognize his talent.
In the museum’s underground spaces, the FLA FlavioLucchiniArt Museum hosts two special creative visions: two women, two artists. In The Lab, the space dedicated to emerging talents, the spotlight is on Gaja Lucchini—choreographer, dancer, and fashion designer specializing in eveningwear and theatrical costumes. Her inspiration comes from Dubai, where she resides and where her atelier is based. On display is a selection of visionary sketches and meticulously crafted stage pieces designed to evoke distant atmospheres, dreamlike impressions, and timeless theatrical worlds. Also featured are some of the costumes created for musicals at the American School of Dubai.
In the Made in Italy room, the museum presents an installation by Angela Carrubba Pintaldi, a designer and artist internationally known for her sculptural jewelry. Her creations have been worn by the international jet set, sold in exclusive boutiques in Paris and New York, and featured in Christie’s and Sotheby’s catalogs. Her work creates a dialogue between the stones of the Earth—such as aquamarine, turquoise, coral, amber, pearl, obsidian, lapis lazuli, and diamonds—and the gems of the Sky, represented by meteorites and a thin circular thread that unites their symbolic energy. These are not just jewels to wear, but true works of art with timeless appeal.

Via Tortona, 27, Milano (Milano)
Via Tortona 27, Milan. The FLA FlavioLucchiniArt Museum – an atelier, museum, and non-profit association – brings together over 30 years of experimentation by the artist Flavio Lucchini. Spanning 2,000 square meters with 20 themed rooms and more than 650 works on display, the museum shows how fashion is much more than just clothing: it is a true “creation,” a cultural expression, a mirror of society, a reflection of its time.
Starting in the 1960s, Lucchini created and led to success Italy’s most important fashion magazines (from Fantasia to Amica, Vogue, L’Uomo Vogue, Lei/Glamour, Moda, Donna, and others). He discovered new talents in photography, graphic design, and journalism, and introduced all the major fashion designers through his publications. For thirty years, he was the most influential figure in Italian fashion publishing.
In 1990, he left all his roles to devote himself entirely to art: large-scale sculptures, bas-reliefs, paintings using traditional or experimental techniques, digital paintings where the mouse replaces the brush, graphic works, and small or monumental totems. Each piece is a dialogue between art and fashion—sometimes dramatic, visionary, and prophetic; other times playful, ironic, and naïve.
And there’s more: books, catalogs, posters, graphic designs, molds...
