The factory is about 20 kilometers from Milan, in what has become an important footwear district. Immediately after the war, when Italy was poor but ingenious, Renzo Rossetti, the founder, was a shoemaker with great ideas, skills and stubbornness. His shoes have conquered the world (Fratelli Rossetti was the first Italian fashion window shop on Madison Avenue, NY in 1978); he invented moccasins with bows, he imposed a style because "A certain world walks in Rossetti" is not just an advertising slogan. Nowadays Fratelli Rossetti is helmed three brothers who, much like their father, continue to make high-quality shoes that last for a lifetime.
