Museo

Built between 1905 and 1906 by architect Alfredo Campanini as a "fashion house" for engineer Davide Bernasconi, founder of Tessiture Seriche in Cernobbio. The decorations outside the villa in Art Nouveau style – which reflect the life cycle of the silkworm – are true works of art. But the real surprise is found inside its rooms. A house that speaks and recounts the innovation of weaving through art and contemporary interpretations, while the past returns to explain the crucial passages of the entrepreneurial history of the town on Lake Como and its longstanding relationship with silk.
