Built between 1905 and 1906 by architect Alfredo Campanini as a "fashion house" for engineer Davide Bernasconi, founder of Tessiture Seriche in Cernobbio. The decorations outside the villa in Art Nouveau style – which reflect the life cycle of the silkworm – are true works of art. But the real surprise is found inside its rooms. A house that speaks and recounts the innovation of weaving through art and contemporary interpretations, while the past returns to explain the crucial passages of the entrepreneurial history of the town on Lake Como and its longstanding relationship with silk.

The Villa Bernasconi Museum, located in Cernobbio on the shores of Lake Como, is a jewel of Art Nouveau architecture on the outside, and an immersive experience combining art, history and technology on the inside. Built in the early 20th century for textile industrialist Davide Bernasconi, the villa now houses an interactive, multimedia museum that tells the story of the family and the local textile industry. Through immersive technologies and sensory paths, visitors can explore the richly decorated rooms, discovering the connection between the villa, its founder and the evolution of the area.
