The factories of the city were born on the bank of the Cervo river in Biella. Where the Trombetta wool mill was once located (now abandoned in a large white building), artist Michelangelo Pistoletto imagined a utopia: Cittadellarte. A "manifest non-place" which becomes a laboratory of ideas open to local artists, entrepreneurs and innovators. A culture factory that hosts exhibitions, meetings and events. From fashion (like the workshop Fashion B.E.S.T.) created together with Franca Sozzani, to concerts and the permanent home to of the Third Paradise (work by Michelangelo Pistoletto) symbol of Biella Unesco Creative City.

Fashion to Reconnect is inspired by the new dynamic balance of the Third Paradise by Michelangelo Pistoletto and by Cittadellarte, and offers clothes and fashion objects as works of art, which become an awareness tool for responsible social change. Designers, entrepreneurs, brands and artists propose perspectives and ways to reconnect with nature to create a harmonious relationship, where the choice of materials, processes and the change in perception of creation itself become the engine of a virtuous transformation of fashion. The pieces on display are selected by Cittadellarte Fashion B.E.S.T., with the patronage of the National Chamber of Italian Fashion and with the curatorship of Tiziano Guardini and the exhibition design of GuardiniCiuffredaStudio (part of the Fashion B.E.S.T. collective).

Art meets sustainable fashion in the third edition of the CirculART project, the initiative that sees companies, artists and fashion designers together with Cittadellarte – Fondazione Pistoletto to demonstrate how, through a careful choice of sustainable materials and supply chains , new forms of productive, planning and sharing balance can be explored.
Three key concepts underlie the circularity of sustainable fashion and this initiative: Reduce - reducing the consumption of raw materials, Reuse - reuse of raw materials and Recycling - regeneration. The collaboration with Matteo Ward aims to reconstruct the supply chain of works of art, highlighting not only the origin of the raw materials - recovered from the 13 partner companies - but also of the ideas, memories and visions that fueled the artistic research of the 4 CirculArtist. The objective is to try to give a visual form to the design idea of ​​each of the works presented and inspire the imagination of alternative, circular and fluid supply chains where the synthesis between the world of fashion and art is the protagonist.
