In the same compound as Agnona, in one of the five buildings renovated by Matteo Thun, the Gianfranco Ferré Research Center holds the inestimable archive that has been kept by the world- known designer through the years – “A never-ending story that’s only looking forward”, as Ferré used to say.

Gianfranco Ferré's "never ending story", collected by the Milanese University which he attended while graduating in Architecture – today, that's the ideal home to his creative legacy and his genius, inspired by matter and volumes. An archive that continues to generate ideas and a research center of the Polytechnic of Milan where all his sketches, work on prototypes, studies on white shirts that look like sculptures can be found. The collection of accessories created in collaboration with Lombard artisans for the bijoux and jewel trimmings used when he became artistic director of Christian Dior. Over 80 thousand documents cataloged as a Made in Italy resource combined with the objects sought during the designer-architect's travels and his iconic clothes. A union between past and present that finds space within the Tortona 37 project by Matteo Thun & Partners, the first headquarters of the Foundation of the same name, donated by the family in 2021, which becomes the Gianfranco Ferré Research Center - Digital Innovation for the Creative and Cultural Industries.
