The small red building with Gothic windows is at the end of Salizada Malipiero, right in Piscina San Samuele. To get there, you can take the ferry: a gondola ride across the Grand Canal for 2 euros. The Palace, the centuries-old home of the Rubelli family, hosts, on the main floor, the Rubelli Foundation with its historical textile collections and, on the ground floor, the showroom with the current creations of the Venetian company.

La Fondazione Rubelli nasce nel 2018 su iniziativa di Alessandro Favaretto Rubelli, Cavaliere del Lavoro e presidente della Rubelli S.p.A, con l'intento di preservare e valorizzare il patrimonio materiale e immateriale dell'azienda, fondata da Lorenzo Rubelli nel 1889. In Ca’ Pisani Rubelli sono custoditi l’Archivio Storico Rubelli e la Collezione Alessandro Favaretto Rubelli.

L’Archivio Storico Rubelli, costituito da una raccolta di più di 50.000 manufatti tessili, corredati da oltre mille messe in carta e disegni preparatori, e da un cospicuo nucleo di documenti e fotografie, testimonia l’ininterrotta attività dell’azienda dal 1889 ai giorni nostri.

La Collezione Alessandro Favaretto Rubelli racchiude più di 3000 preziosi tessuti antichi in un arco cronologico che va dal XV al XX secolo.
