The small red building with Gothic windows is at the end of Salizada Malipiero, right in Piscina San Samuele. And already from the names - salizada which means street; swimming pool that at the time of the Serenissima indicated the presence of a water basin - it is a dive into Venice more Venice. To get there, you can take the ferry: a gondola ride across the Grand Canal for 2 euros. The Palace, the centuries-old home of the Rubelli family, hosts, on the main floor, the Rubelli Foundation with its historical textile collections and, on the ground floor, the showroom with the current creations of the Venetian company.

The Rubelli Foundation was founded in 2018 on the initiative of Alessandro Favaretto Rubelli, Cavaliere del Lavoro and president of Rubelli S.p.A, with the aim of preserving and enhancing the tangible and intangible heritage of the company, founded by Lorenzo Rubelli in 1889. The Rubelli Historical Archive and the Alessandro Favaretto Rubelli Collection are kept in Ca' Pisani Rubelli.

The Rubelli Historical Archive, made up of a collection of more than 50,000 textile artefacts, accompanied by over a thousand paper copies and preparatory drawings, and a large nucleus of documents and photographs, bears witness to the company's uninterrupted activity from 1889 to the present day.

The Alessandro Favaretto Rubelli Collection contains more than 3000 precious ancient fabrics in a chronological period ranging from the 15th to the 20th century.
