FourSeasons is the collection created by Mariangela Bertagnin, her boldest creation throughout the stages of her professional life. First an employee in the eyewear sector, then a third-party manufacturer, and for the past 15 years an entrepreneur with her own brand.
Four seasons where the difference is made by the materials, carefully selected for their quality, with which the glasses are made. “Spiritual” is the line made entirely of acetate, featuring color plays and special luminescence. “Revival” combines acetate with other materials, particularly metal. Then there is “Success,” where the proportions are reversed and metal dominates. Finally, “Harmony,” the metal collection characterized by lightness and color.
And not least, because Mariangela has also imagined a fifth season: one in which creativity knows no limits and where glasses can take shapes such as a flower or a butterfly.
What connects all the seasons is the pride in Made in Italy: “We Italians are capable of producing excellence. Made in Italy should be seen as a lifestyle, a quality product, an emotion, a passion. It is our duty to show who we are and tell our story without hiding behind anything. The added value of our products is us.”
All production, both for the brand and clients, is entrusted to the skill of artisans and a supply chain that has made this district a leader in the sector.

It all began with the flight of a butterfly. Mariangela Bertagnin was in the meeting room, opening her briefcase full of documents: the butterfly emerged from between the papers and began to flutter around the room. It was 2010, and that was the sign that a new life could begin.
Fifteen years later, Ma.Be. Italian Jewel, based in Calalzo di Cadore, is a well-established eyewear company—not only in Italy but also in many European countries—offering its own collection and working as a partner in the design and creation of handcrafted products. All its strength lies in creativity, quality, and know-how. In the Made in Italy spirit which, as the founder says, here is 101 percent.
Mariangela Bertagnin still leads the company and will welcome ApritiModa visitors to Perarolo, in one of the workshops where the glasses are made. There, visitors will be able to watch them physically take shape and understand just how far passion and belief in beauty can fly.
