First there was Bettina, a housewife with an apron, then Pietro Barilla thinks that pasta must have a different positioning, it must be ennobled. Thus begins the evolution of the Barilla story. It will be Mina, the star of the stars, who will be chosen as a testimonial to star in more than sixty commercials from '65 to '70. Sophisticated, small masterpieces of cinematography. Six of the precious dresses worn in the Caroselli directed by Piero Gherardi between '66 and '67 will be exhibited to the public for the first time together with backstage shots of the Roman settings. A journey through feathers, trains and bodices for a "pasta masterpiece". In the archive, the history of Barilla and its creative communication strategy: from the Italian table to the entire world. All this happens in Pedrignano, just outside Parma, in the Group's headquarters. The address is the same for the convoys transporting grain. When in doubt, just follow the scent of the pasta.
