In the heart of the Calabrian Sila, precisely in Longobucco in the province of Cosenza, broom, linen and silk yarns are intertwined on hand looms and become artistic fabrics. Inside the historic workshop, the Celestino family's passion has been handed down for generations; first Master Eugenio (in the 1920s), then Cavaliere Mario and now his children. Among tapestries and precious fabrics, once thought for the trousseau and high fashion, we discover the symbolism of the designs and its secrets. In the Museum, set up inside the laboratory, you’ll also discover the entire cycle of transformation of the broom, from the plant to its weaving.
