Percorso Profumi
The door of Palazzo Rosselli Cecconi, in the heart of Borgo Santa Croce, opens into a cobbled courtyard and from there, a steep staircase leads to the ancient underground cellars that are now the laboratories of the Aquaflor artisan perfumery. Under the vaulted ceilings, the counters are filled with colored flasks, which look like an alchemist's workshop. There’s the flower room, full of dried flowers of all kinds. And there’s the nose room, where, by mixing different essences, you can create your own perfume.

Aquaflor Firenze
Borgo Santa Croce, 2, Firenze (Firenze)
A perfume atelier housed in the Corsini Antinori Serristori palace in Florence. The origin dates back to the nose Sileno Cheloni, who in 2009 founded the perfumery house following the tradition and footsteps of Florentine artistic perfumery known thanks to Caterina dé Medici and her trusted alchemist Renato Bianco. Rare and precious essences from all over the world take shape, becoming olfactory jewels created in the laboratory in the cellars of the building a stone's throw from Santa Croce. Myrrh, vanilla, rose, cedar and incense are also found in candles, cosmetics and home fragrances. Not a perfume shop but a sensorial experience in which to immerse yourself in memories, distant atmospheres and beauty while walking among bags full of dried flowers, buds and spices. Inside the world of Aquaflor - passing through a stone staircase, you also discover the olfactory, a sacred environment for the perfumer, where over 1500 precious essences are collected: the starting point for the creation of tailor-made perfume. Halfway between a chemist's laboratory and a magician's potions room, magic is born.
