Archivio Ferragamo

In Sesto Fiorentino, a few kilometers from the historic headquarters of Palazzo Spini Feroni in Florence, there's the Ferragamo archive. Its heritage, preserved for generations starting from the founder, Salvatore Ferragamo, has been nourished year after year thanks to the perseverance of his family, who led the company after him. In particular, his daughter Fiamma Ferragamo supported the creation of a museum dedicated to the history of the brand and of an organised archive, an invaluable collection of documents, photographs, films, drawings, prototypes and, above all, products that tell the story of the company, passing the tradition and values of the brand onto future generations. For ApritiModa, the Ferragamo Archive opens its doors with a special guided tour. Visitors will have access to a space that's usually available to internal creative offices and fashion history scholars only, and will be able to discover the creative genius of Salvatore Ferragamo and his precious know-how, which has been a cornerstone of Made in Italy manufacturing through the years.
