ITALY DISCOVERS THE ATELIER
The 23rd and 24th of October 2021 were the dates of the fifth edition of ApritiModa, the second on a national scale, with 86 brands involved across 14 regions. Little by little, place after place, story after story, the mosaic of Italy’s true treasures – our unique and inimitable wealth, our know-how – is created. There is the intelligence of creativity, with the world’s most famous brands. There are the skills of hands, brain and
heart, of those craftsmen that make the "big houses", unique. And there is the quality of the fabrics, of the wool, silk, leather… This year ApritiModa has gone further up the supply chain, bringing visitors to the fashion houses, but also to the workshops and factories, to see where and how the Made in Italy is born. A breathtaking, unforgettable journey. The ateliers were full of joy this year, as if there was
the desire, the need to see the sun again. The 2021 edition opened to sustainable fashion experiences and to one sector – yet another one! – that distinguishes our country in the world, the eyewear district. If everyone knows that little dot on the map, which is Italy, it’s because beauty, culture and knowledge of crafts have entered our DNA; so we’re the first to go and discover the wonderful things that centuries of history have taught us to make.
