MILAN RE-DISCOVERS THE FASHION ATELIER

On the 18th and 19th May 2019, ApritiModa returned to Milan, with the aim of opening the most secret and wonderful places in the city to free visits to the public – the ateliers where fashion is born. From Armani to Versace, the initiative opened fifteen magical places to discover, fifteen unmissable experiences, fifteen exciting opportunities, for a breath-taking treasure hunt. On a weekend of torrential rain,

while the pianos of Piano City sweetened the air with their notes, thousands of people were able to see up close what everyone appreciates and loves, but can often only see from a distance. Milan once again opened the secret places of its fashion houses and turned unknown, inaccessible places into public spaces. Fashion is culture, fashion is work, fashion is us – it is our

flag in the world. Fashion is what everyone envies us. Discovering what’s behind the captivating images of advertising, touching first-hand where the beauty and ‘well-made’ of Italy is born is an experience that gives unforgettable emotions. For the first time, together with the city-based ateliers, two factories have also opened their doors: Zegna in Trivero and Herno in Lesa, from the mountains to the shores of Lake Maggiore.
