Cologni Foundation of Art Professions supports ApritiModa by collaborating in the selection of artisan excellences. A private non-profit institution, founded in Milan in 1995 at the behest of Franco Cologni, it promotes a series of cultural, scientific and educational initiatives for the protection and diffusion of artistic crafts. With the editorial series “Mestieri d’Arte” and “Ricerche” (Marsilio), it aims to historically reconstruct the reality of these excellent activities, looking at the great tradition of Italian know-how. It has worked on “Storietalentuose” with Carthusia – a series dedicated to teach the youngest generations about the great beauty of Italian craftsmanship. The Foundation conceived and created the magazine “Mestieri d’ Arte & Design. Craft Culture”, and with the project ‘Una Scuola, un Lavoro. Paths of Excellence’, it actively supports the training of young people in high craftsmanship. Moreover, it regularly collaborates with organizations, schools and cultural institutions in Italy and abroad and organises periodic exhibitions dedicated to applied arts with Triennale Milano.
