Inside the Liberty jewel that is Palazzo Leonetti, designed by Giulio Ulisse Arata as a hotel in 1908 (and today of the British Consulate and the Spanish Consulate, you’ll find the Sartoria Antonelli. Pass the vintage elevator, ring the bell (which is a Neapolitan mask), and enter the world of Raffaele (Lello) Antonelli. At the age of 12, he began holding the thimble: he started sewing and learned the art of tailoring from the most prestigious shops in the city. Scissors, needle, thread and chalk are his brushes, while the strip machines and the natural light that enters from the large windows make visiting the atelier an unforgettable experience. It’ll make you feel right at home.
